Something we all have
In the last decade, organisations and activists in the United Kingdom have presented mental health as ‘something we all have’. This approach has radically shifted the script.
If all of us have mental health, then, anyone can be affected by mental health problems. This means we are mutually responsible for each other’s wellbeing.

In this doctoral project, carried out at Goldsmiths, University of London under the guidance of professors Sophie Day, Victoria Goddard, and David Graeber, I explored how we communicate about mental health and practice wellbeing.
Stories of people who recover from mental health problems have shown that we can practice wellbeing by actively observing the world and consciously following its movements.
